A little bit of this and that

I have some random things on my mind, what's new right? So please forgive my choppy post that I am about to write, promise to still be friends after? Thanks!

It appears my brother is moving in with me tonight. I am totally ok with this and don't mind. However, you do remember I am getting a roommate this weekend that will now be taking over the guest room. Guess Zachy is taking the couch. Luckily he doesn't have a lot of stuff to move in and he is pretty go with the flow. Most days.

A woman that is backwards nice (the type that has no social skills, tries but in the next breath throws you under the bus) just asked me if I was losing weight. She said you keep getting skinner and skinner....I will take it as a complement and not that she thinks my rear end is getting HUGE...I mean BIGGER than HUGE. :)

We finished up week 4 today. I am still waiting for the endurance and speed to kick in. I am completing the runs. Doing ok, no speed runner that is for sure, but I still feel winded and sore and the last run of the series hurts. Each week I do it, and I am proud of myself. Someday sooner than later I will be able to run 30 mins without blinking an eye. Right?

Tomorrow is weigh in, I really hope to see something higher than 2. A 4 would be great. My problem is right now I am under eating, for this week. Ha, what a change. I run every other day, walk the dog for a few miles on the off night and I have been doing Yoga. Once my brother's car situation gets figured out I will start back up group exercise classes and weights at the gym. Right now it is just too much. So I eat some but I am usually trying to be a million different places that eating out of boredom isn't an issue and neither is feeling hungry when I am not. Now if I could just figure out how to do the weekends right.... I stay within points or use some of my bonus every now and then but I am home more so the urges come.
I am 3lbs away from 25 and my 10%. It would be amazing to hit both of those this weigh in. Keep your fingers crossed, please?!

Part of my insurance benefits covers massage therapy. So in 3 hours I will be getting a nice 60 minute massage for 11$ :) Not a bad way to end today!
I am going to start needing new clothes sooner than later. I am going to try to make it another 15lbs or so before I shop. I have enough friends that I think I can swap clothes with to make it work for awhile. One thing I will need soon is bras. My poor bubbies, they aren’t keeping their shape or size. I am ok with it. Whatever needs to happen to lose weight is OK with this girl. Although I would be lying if I said I didn’t want my thighs and midsection to shrink instead! When did you start noticing a difference in your clothes? Where did you lose it first?


Alright I better go get some work done; I will post tomorrow after weigh in. I am going to try and find some pics and when I reach 200lbs I am going to do a series, maybe then I will really be able to tell the difference!

TGIF

So I didn't post after weigh in yesterday, I got busy with work. But I am down another 1lb. Now after coming off a 5lb lose - I knew it would be small, but come on let me see at least a 2!

This week I vow to run harder, lift heavier and eat lighter!

Speaking of running, Rebecca and I started week 4 yesterday. I got some new shoes, prescription strength muscle rub and some serious stretching in before hand. I felt pretty good during the run. Now I am slow and poor Rebecca has to run ahead of me and then circle back when she gets to far ahead, but she is a GREAT sport and doesn't seem to mind :) I was slow this run, I mean helllllloooo we ran 5 minutes at a time! This girl has never done that before so I was happy. My leg, muscle whatever is going on felt pretty good, tight still and by the end it was hurting but nothing like the run before. This heat though is killer, I got in my car and I was dizzy and hot - we are talking near 100 degree heat during the day. Running at 6:30am and it is still 80ish degrees. Too hot! Sometime this weekend we need to get in day 2 of week 4. I mean after that run, we are kinda like half way done. Wow.

Life is going Ok. I am getting a room mate next weekend to help with some financial issues. Not totally happy with it, but I need the financial assistance right now. I am trying to figure out my plan, what God wants from me and what I need to do. The big picture is just so unclear right now. So until the light bulb goes off, I will keep working on getting the weight off ;)
