A look...
Below is the vidoe tribute to my grandmother. Hours of sorting pictures, scanning them and trying to find music for the funeral home. It wasn't perfect, we are missing pictures of things we wanted but none the less, it is there. http://memorial.yourtribute.com/MaysolGennyAlleman/video.aspx?mode=view&videoType=videotribute&videoId=35371
Friday Fragments

1. Man have I been MIA - I have moved, ugghhh I think, 99.9% sure EVERYTHING of mine is out of my huge, nicely spaced 4 bedroom, attic & basement big back yard house - to my tiny two bedroom apartment. My life is chaos right now. REALLY chaotic. But it is done. Sat is the yard sale of all yard sales and then I shall never return to the old house. And to be honest, I couldn't be happier about my move! I LOVEEE my new place, the location, neighbors and everything in between!
2. My grandmother passed away. She deserves her own post. She will get it. When I can.
3. My brother and I got into something yucky while home visiting for the funeral. My rash is on my face, his all over. Thankfully my BFF is a doctor. He does house calls.
4. I love my job in the summer. I come in late, leave early and pretty much run the show. I also got a secretary. I don't want August to come. She leaves, faculty returns to work and my life goes back to chaos (at work atleast).
5. I am getting a room mate. A male room mate. A male roommate I really don't know. My friend knows him really well, we are going to try it out. Extra rent money never hurts.
6. WVU football is just around the corner. I CAN NOT WAIT. I won't go into an hour long post here about football. But let's just say, WVU FOOTBALL is one of my top 5 favorite things in the world!
7. I finally feel as if my life is having a purpose and some direction. New place, job going better, weight going down. Things are kinda ok right now. Grandmother was suffering so as horribly sad as her death was, we are at peace now. So that stress is gone and a snese of almost peace is there. Strange and maybe morbid but I am not trying to be. We loved her a lot and no one wants loved ones to suffer. So things are looking up. Money still isn't completly right but I see some light at the end of a very long tunnel

Death....
Life is never promised. But when a wonderful woman has lived a great 80+ years and she is now suffering it is hard to watch and understand. Why are perfectly heathly happy young children taken from the world so soon, when people who have lived a long full happy life are made to suffer through the last days they have? I know God has a plan, and I should NEVER question it...but it is hard. My grandmother's life is coming to an end. Medication and a great group of doctors are keeping her what they claim to be "comfertable", but who knows. She is an amazing woman, a fighter and a hell of a grandmother. It pains me to watch her last bit of life be in discomfort. Our Father knows what he is doing, I know. But watching someone you love come full circle is never easy.

Sharing...
As you know my Nan is in a nursing home. The rooms are as cheerful and bright as they can be but I wanted her to have pictures of her family, tons of them, so she may not be as sad. I had this made for her. I am going to frame it and put it on her wall, it comes in a 12X something so it isn't that small, but instead of buying a lot of different frames for individual pics I made her this. She has about 20 individual pics as it stands now!
Top Left is my parents, my Pap, Aunt Cher'e and Cousin (2nd) Brayden
Group pic of the first cousins, I am in the brown shirt brother is on my lap. Zach and I are also the sepia (brother is Zach) pic as well as a family pic in the dressier clothes in the bottom row ;)

Updates
They got my Nan moved into a semi-private room, Thank God. That saves my parents a nice chunk of change. Also the bill they got has been taken care of through Medicare. Thankfully, it was a computer glitch and for the time being, it appears we can hold onto the family farm. Now please don't get me wrong, we'd sell it in a heart beat if it would help Nan. However ,my Pap wouldn't have a home and it is a bit complicated.
Sadly, a close friend of mine lost her grandmother Sunday. The whole family is close with my whole family, in fact our brothers are room mates. So I am taking a half-day today and driving home to visit with them tonight. I am not going to to go the funeral, just visitation as I will be the only one in office tomorrow so I HAVE to be here. So I will go tonight and share stories about this wonderful woman, "Ma".
I hope everyone is having a great week!
