Cars and Money

So things have been a little tough money wise the past few weeks. Moving, some personal expenses and just MOVING really hit hard in my budget. Top it off with my brother's car clunking out and my car this morning being towed in for some repairs it hasn't been easy.

My mom is waiting on some answers from the bank, please Lord let this be something that goes through.

I hate stressing over money. It literally makes your world so much more stressful. I know in my heart I need more money than what I make at current job. But I like my job, I keep watching for things within the University to open up. Internal employees get first bid - so I am waiting, praying and hoping.

In the mean time, anyone know where I can get a money tree? :)

Friday Fragments

1. This is the first weekend since May I haven't been stressed. Life is slowing done. Apartment is coming together. No worries about G'ma and everything is going OK too.

2. I am dogsitting my friends pup. Buster is LOVING having a playmate. I miss my old yard now though. She is a great dog and we look forward to seeing her all week :)

3. Next weekend is a LOOONNNGGG weekend! WHOOHOO! I am not sure what I will do but hopefully nothing to stressful!

4. My brother's car blew up :( However, this means I have been taking him to and from work. It has been nice seeing him for those time periods. I have a really awesome brother.

5. I have been doing Weight Watchers at work. I am down almost 20lbs! Still have a lot of weight to lose, but my first big goal is 30. Almost there :)

6. I went to dinner last night with my potential roommate, he is coming back in a week to stay two weeks. Hopefully this works out, the extra income would be AWESOME!

7. Guilty pleasure of the weekend will be catching up on the RealHousewives of NJ and NY. :)

What's new...

I've been busy! Doing what, you ask... Well, really I don't know. Life seems to move at such a fast pace that it is hard to keep up. Work has been busy so that is nice and I haven't made it the gym in almost two weeks! Ughh and I can tell. I have been cleaning the house, getting ready for all the company tonight and for fall.

I have the itch to repaint my room. However, my brother had some car troubles and I gave him some extra money, so my budget is very thin the next two weeks. I was very happy to help and always more than willing, but it took any extras out until next pay day. It seems like when I finally get something ahead and in savings something comes up. So is life, I guess.

The only downfall to tonights game is that I have to DVR all my shows lol. I love Thursday night TV. I will have to stay up really late I guess and watch them. I don't know if I can go to bed NOT knowing what happend on The Office and Grey's. The other shows can wait!
