Goals

So the past few years have been a whirl-wind. Some good times, some bad times and a few numb moments but for the most part it was so fast nothing really stands out. Except the fact I am not where I want to be. I am happy with some aspects of my life but not all...sooooo I am going to make some goals. I am going to hold myself accountable for these goals! Hopefully it will all work out and I will see progress... I am going to blog about them and figure out what I need to change to get things back in order, the way I want things to be... These are my short term goals - my long term goals are going to be posted later this week. I want to take the time to really put a lot of thought in them....

Short term - by the end of the year
  • loose 15lbs - ughh
  • get the Christmas Club set up through my bank - the money will not be used for Christmas, more like a vacation club :)
  • Figure out a budget, a realistic one and STICK to it. Any help or ideas would be great!
  • Find a way to increase my income. Start small but I need to make more money.
  • Eat healthier - cut back on soda, junk and bored food (tv snacks, laying around snacks...etc)
  • Go to the gym 5 times a week - try for 6
  • Go through my clothes
  • Re-organize bed room - possibly paint
  • keep my desk organized
  • laugh more, love harder and cry less....

  2. Good for you for setting goals for yourself. I often look at my life and think I'm not where I want to be either. It's so nice to have control over certain aspects. I hope you are able to make the changes you desire. :-D

  3. Great job for setting and WRITING down your goals! That's something i really need to do, too. Good luck making your changes! And something I always remind myself...you won't always reach them all, but it's good to start somewhere. :) And reaching just 1 is a success! :)
