100th post

When I started this blog, I wasn't sure if anyone would read - if I would ever find any blogs that I connected to. I really wasn't sure what to expect. Honestly, I couldn't have expected to feel as connected to a group of bloggers as I do. I love seeing your updates, seeing how this phase in your life is working out and hearing about what YOU have to say.

I have met a great blogger IRL now - and we have developed a friendship that I would never have imagined could come from blogging :)

I cried while watching a family video of an adoption hearing one of my "friends" posted - My heart was so full for them.

I guess I started blogging to be able to clear my head, document my life and maybe "talk to a few folks" but blogging is soooooo much more! I love Blogger.com and all my friends in it :)

Now I think the traditional thing to do is a 100 things about me post - which I will now do.

1. I love WVU Football, from my head to my toes I love it. I have been known to tear up during games, be heartbroke over losses and be ecstatic over wins. Last years Backyard Brawl made me do two out of three, LOL

2. I have the best family, ever! We are crazy, opinionated, we fight and get mad - but in the end we are all there for each other.

3. I treat my dog like my son.

4. I had Lyme Disease - I don't anymore :)

5. I want something more out of life. Marriage and children to be exact.

6. My car is NEVER clean, and on the off chance you see it clean - don't worry it won't be for longer than 10 minutes.

7. I am pretty sure I will be a Morgantowner (town I live (well sorta) work in) for life.

8. I love the ocean - the warm breeze, hot sand, salty air - hmmmmm

9. I have one amazing little brother, he is almost 22!

10. I love to swim.

11. I am not happy with my body.

12.My Grandma is sick and now lives with my parents - no one realized how hard this would be on them. They are amazing people!

13. I love cheap champagne.

14. I love to travel. And wish to do it more.

15. I love to read, but I haven't read a book in sooo long.

16. I took the first part of a quiz while working on this list.

17. I am addicted to my Iphone.

18. A student just came in to my office - I have a large rug in the middle and he said I am going to wipe my feet off in here, wiped his muddy wet boots all over my carpet. I am speechless.

19. My dream guy would have a southern accent, play guitar and football. And be dreamy, hehe

20. 2010 has already brought so much joy to my life, I can't wait to see what the other 10 months bring :)

21. I love office/school supplies. In the movie "You've got Mail" where Meg Ryan says something like I love NY in the fall, blah blah I'd send you a bouquet a freshly sharpened pencils - that line makes me smile

22. I have a fear of public restrooms. I like them to be empty when I use them. Weird I know.

23. Please NEVER talk to me while I am using the RR, it creeps me out.

24. I have my wedding planned out.

25. I like to talk sports, I like being one of the guys sometimes.

26. I want to swim with dolphins. My parents have tried taking me 3 times. It never worked out quite the way we thought LOL

27. I forgot to put on a bra today - How do you forget that. I am leaving my coat on until I can ran to Target.

28. I also just snuck out of work to go get Starbucks, I really hope my boss never reads this.

29. I did something brave this year, I stood up for something I believed in and made myself proud. Justice and the right thing won :)

21. I am going to grad school this fall - in what you ask? I have no clue

22. I love to tail gate, but I never get drunk. I love watching the game that much.

23. I also called and scheduled my GRE while I was doing this.

24. My mom's real name is Ruby Lynn A* - she has everyone call her Lynn, I love the name Ruby.

25. I have a bra touched by Tim McGraw.

26. We put our dog to sleep on Christmas Eve - I have never seen my brother cry. He did that day

27. I love salt. I salt everything!

28. I hate the smell, texture, feeling everything about balloons and latex in general. Balloons creep me out and scare me. I know, I know. But they do.

29. I want to work from home.

30. I like putting my Ipod on shuffle and hearing songs I forgot about it.

31. I can't sing - but boy do I pretend I can in my car.

32. I wish I had whiter teeth.

33. Starbucks...Hmm now I am wondering why I don't go there daily. Skinny Vanilla Latte - mmhmmh and I am awake at 12. Wonderful.

34. I have the attention span of a 4 year old.

35. I LOVEEEEEE teenage reality tv shows. They make me happy. Don't judge.

36. I love the sound of heels - too bad I can't wear them!

37. I like the new scarves look - too bad I look dumb wearing the,

38. I hate having the bottom of my jeans wet.

39. I love fresh flowers. LOVE to see them growing and the way they smell :)


40. I love the feeling of new tennis shoes.

41. I am clumsy. 100% clumsy.

42. I love new appliances. I could look at Lowes for hours at the washer/dryers, dishwashers and garbage disposals!

43. I also like cleaning products. I love to try new things.

44. My bedroom can be a mess - my office will be cluttered...but not my kitchen or bathroom - you could eat off my floors

45. I never liked to cook - but recently I have found a true appreciate for cooking. I like to try new things - but I lack that killer instinct on how to spice things up...

46. I love cold sheets and down blankets.

47. I'm a sheet snob. Certain sheets aren't comfortable to me. I wasn't raised this way but I am...

48. I really want to try and do more nice things for people.

49. I love margaritas.

50. I got to drink beer and talk football with real NFL players this year. One of my dreams came true.

51. I own more Blue and Gold clothes than I should.

52. I love to play cards and board games.

52. I don't know how the man feels about this. I've never asked. I'm not going to because it won't change my mind. That's not very nice is it?

53. Money burns a hole in my pocket. Again, Don't judge.

54. I need to drink more water.

55. I am a horrible speller.

56. My feet are always cold - except in my Uggs and in flip flops on a warm summer day :)

57. I love being pampered!

58. I love to try new food - I have a pretty open mind when it comes to food.

59. I like MacBooks - but don't really get it I guess - yes they are cool but for typing, school and blogging? Do I need to spend the extra grand - feel free to tell me.

60. It drives me nuts when I can't stand someone because of a language barrier - it makes me feel like I am not cultured enough.

61. I don't understand fine art - if I like it I like it. Sorry.

62. I like to smell & touch things. Weirdooooo

63. Buster, my dog...he makes me happy and when he does something naughty he sits in time out - actual time out. He'll sit there till I tell him to get up then he does and has to come kiss me - my poor kids.

64. I think Colt is an extremely cool Texan Football player name. Even if I don't like Texas.

65. Lifetime movies can get me hooked faster than anything.

66. I love fruit and fruit drinks.

67. I can't stand getting out of the car when my favorite song is playing.

68. I love the smell of fresh washed clothes.

69. When I get the craving for pop corn, I make mine with M&M's - try it, you'll thank me.

70. I hate hot dogs.

71. I love how puppies' breath smells :)

72. I love having lunch with friends.

73. I have not one ounce of green thumb.

74. I like to shop, you name it -I'll shop for it.

75. I worry that my best friend and I are falling apart. :( We've been best friends since 8th grade.

76. I am overwhelmed with school. Big time.

77. I really want an SUV. But don't want the car payments

78. I browse ebay and etsy way too much.

79. I don't like to have my toe nails NOT painted. I will not wear open toed shoes with bare nails.

80. I love country music. Love it <3

81. I love to people watch. I don't really make fun, just watch - and sometimes wonder - how much Kahunas does that person have to wear that ;)

82. I have a hard time trusting, but once I do - you have my whole heart.

83. I like hearing what people think - but I have a hard time letting go of my ideals of right.

84. I have done things I am not proud of, things that changed me for the worse at the time - but now, now I know better and I am so much stronger! And proud!

85. I like taking bubble baths, with water so hot it hurts for a few seconds.

86. I have two cousins who have found us - its a long story but they are a true blessing to our family and even though we haven't spent a lot of time together - it feels like they have always been here and I am so happy they are here.

87. I went on a cruise when I was 12. I want to go again.

88. I have estranged grandparents - another long story but I don't miss them. I have two other sets that complete the grandparent card like you wouldn't believe.

89. I've made new friends this year. This is huge for me.

90. I will be 26 - late 20's this year. Please someone catch me, I am fainting.

91. Jimmy Buffet makes me happy <3 as the son of a son of sailor...

92. Someday I will do great things, hopefully by having children....

93. I wish I could do something out of character and totally not me - but I am pretty stuck in my ways.

94. My dream man is there - I think I need to find God's relationship a little more before I start one with my future husband.


95. I haven't been the Christian woman I want to be.

96. I hope that I make my parents proud. I try to make choices to ensure that.

97. My kid brother, is no longer a kid - he is maturing and it makes me so proud.

98. I really am lucky and blessed.

99. I spent a summer with one of my best friends sleeping on a trampoline every night watching a meteor shower that lasted all summer. It is such a great memory.

100. I am not perfect. No where near it - but I am trying to improve daily. Thank you all for being here! Blogging is really something special!

Almost 100th post

I am nearing my 100th post. Did any of you do anything special for your big day? Did you do any give aways? Do you even think 100 is something to celebrate?? Share with me your 100 day stories or if you haven't made it that far, what do you want to do at 100? Anything?

I am off to have a massage today and a facial, pedi/manni and sea weed wrap. Thanks, boy. You are pretty special!

I hope to think of nothing for the next four hours. I will be curious to see if the Mounty's pull a victory over The Buckeyes. Here's to hoping! I have a Ohio State fan that I follow - I hope to be able to talk a little friendly smack talk tomorrow and not get it AHAH - Just playing ;)
