I have a Kodak that is ok but I want to take good pictures, GWIM.
So friends, give me your camera opinions. What do you use, what do your drool over and what do you think I should do.....
I too am in the market for a new camera...so i am of no help I cant decide between a canon SLR or a nikon

ReplyDeleteWhen I was looking for a new point and shoot camera and a photographer friend misunderstood and thought I was looking for a new, NICE camera - he highly recommended a Nikon and two of my friends have them and love them - if I was getting and SLR, that's what I'd get.
ReplyDeleteNikon--you can find the D40 for pretty cheap now or the new D3000/D5000 would both be good. If you can find them on sale or in a package of some sort with both the 18-55 mm lens and the 55-200 mm, I'd recommend those.
ReplyDeleteI have a D60 right now and am drooling over upgrading to a D90. But I love lenses, too, so I might get a new lens first!
